Support a campus community where everyone belongs this Give Day!

Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are core values of UC Davis that are embedded within our Principles of Community and reflect our commitment to serving our student population.

Research has shown students who see themselves reflected among their teachers, professionals, and other administrative staff have better educational outcomes. More diverse teams of faculty, students, and scholars also generate better, more-informed, and more innovative solutions to challenging problems.

This Give Day, we are also happy to feature two programs (below) which provide faculty with valuable networks for collaboration, resources to serve our diverse student body, platforms for knowledge exchange and support for work-life balance.

The Center for the Advancement of Multicultural Perspectives on Science (CAMPOS) recruits and retains STEMM faculty who excel at advancing multicultural perspectives in their research, teaching, professional service and community engagement.

CAMPOS offers professional research development support and dependent care grants for faculty, hosts grant development workshops and research colloquia, provides mini-grants to support research productivity and professional development opportunities.

In the past 10 years, the proportion of UC Davis tenure-track faculty who identify as Latinx/Chicanx has nearly doubled, and UC Davis has been recognized as #1 of the 13 most important STEM universities for women.

The Center for the Advancement of Multicultural Perspectives on Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (CAMPSSAH) encompasses the integration and retention of faculty whose research, teaching, scholarly and creative production bring multicultural perspectives to the social sciences, humanities and the arts with an emphasis on contributions that elevate the voices and visibility of underrepresented students and communities at UC Davis.

CAMPSSAH provides a space for these faculty to strengthen and enhance their engagement with underserved communities through their research and service, within and beyond campus.
