The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts and the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art are vibrant cultural resources dedicated to ensuring community access to world-class art and performing arts. 

Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts

The Mondavi Center is UC Davis’ state-of-the-art performing arts venue. Its annual season features an expansive mix of seasoned artists at the top of their craft, emerging artists, and leading cultural figures. Many of the featured artists also participate in educational outreach activities, including school matinees, master classes, and in-school artist residencies.

The Artistic Ventures Fund (AVF) was established to help ensure innovative programming and community impact. This Artistic Ventures Fund functions as a quasi-endowment fund, providing the stability of an endowment but the flexibility to provide resources for exceptional projects, when needed.  

A significant portion of Mondavi Center’s annual funding comes from individual support. Your gift to Mondavi Center helps to make possible the performances, arts education, and community outreach that make Mondavi Center such an important part of cultural life at UC Davis and in the surrounding communities.

Offering engaging experiences that reflect and serve the UC Davis community, the museum shares the university's core values of innovative research, interdisciplinary experimentation, and a dedication to educational programming while building on its legacy of exceptional teaching and artistic practice. 

Presenting free exhibitions and programs year-round, the Manetti Shrem Museum provides an unparalleled cultural resource for students, faculty, visitors and the extended community. We offer free admission to over 50,000 visitors annually. Our dedicated supporters make all of this possible.
