Investigating every aspect of climate change. Creating art that reimagines what’s possible. Organizing people to speak up for human rights across the globe. These are just a few of the incredible things graduate students at UC Davis accomplish every day.
UC Davis graduate students are essential members of the Aggie community. From their innovative research to their exceptional teaching and public service, graduate students are passionate about everything they do. But achieving this excellence becomes extremely difficult if a student is facing an emergency or cannot meet their basic needs.
This Give Day, we invite you to join us in supporting students so they can achieve even more. Your gift today can make a world of difference for our graduate students.
The Graduate Student Emergency Fund: Solely funded by donations to the Graduate Studies Emergency Fund, the Graduate Studies Emergency Grant Program launched in Fall 2022 to support graduate students in emergency and unforeseen circumstances. This fund is open to support any graduate student determined with an urgent need. The program has been critical in helping graduate students resolve issues that, in the past, might have forced them to pause or drop out of their degree program.
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) Food Pantry: one of the first food and resource pantries in the country specifically for graduate students. The GSA Food Pantry stocks a range of products for students and their families—from fresh food to personal hygiene products—and provides other basic needs resources and information.
Thank you for supporting Graduate Studies this Give Day!
