For over 20 years the Chancellor's Fellows program has promoted creative and scientific inquiries at UC Davis. Over 190 faculty have charted new territory in cellular biology, teen bullying, writing and artistic expression, climate change, public health, empowering the underserved, searching for life on Mars, and more. Often these research projects also provide students with career-building lab experience as well.

Chancellor’s Achievement Awards allow high-performing California students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue their education. Most recipients are part of the 42 percent of our undergraduates who are first generation to college. These awards are key to keeping a UC Davis education accessible to all.
