Join the Arboretum and Public Garden’s Teaching Nursery campaign this Give Day
Help grow the impact of the Arboretum Teaching Nursery through a gift to the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden’s “Nurture the Nursery" campaign!
The Arboretum Teaching Nursery is already a beloved community resource for program engagement and public environmental education, a center for home gardening inspiration about sustainable horticulture and a training facility for student interns in the Arboretum and Public Garden’s innovative environmental leadership program — Learning by Leading™️.
As home to the newly opened Elizabeth Mary Wolf Environmental Learning Center and the host site for popular plant sale events which attract thousands of home gardening enthusiasts from the region, the Arboretum Teaching Nursery is at the heart of our mission to inspire human potential to help people and environments thrive.
Join with us to increase public engagement and empower student environmental leaders by supporting our “Nurture the Nursery” campaign this Give Day!
Your Give Day donation will help transform the Arboretum Teaching Nursery into an even more inspiring environment with:
- Improved visitor signage and accessible pathways inside the Teaching Nursery
- Support for our student Learning by Leading™️ environmental interns
- Enhanced demonstration gardens with a greater focus on climate-ready gardening
By nurturing the Arboretum Teaching Nursery and the people who work there, donors catalyze our work to engage, empower and educate people of our community to create more resilient gardens and a healthier environment for everyone.
