Behavioral Health Center of Excellence
Support mental health research and policy on Give Day!

1 in 5 people in the United States experience mental illness every year. Mental health challenges are the number one cause of disability in the United States and touch almost every individual, family and community. The UC Davis Behavioral Health Center of Excellence is taking the lead to address this public health concern.

We help bridge neuroscience research, mental health care and policy to improve the lives of those touched by mental illness.

Your gift – no matter the amount – can create a positive impact. When you support the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, you help accelerate research that informs policy; provide education on best practices; develop strategies for early intervention; and foster innovative treatment methods to improve lives.

This Give Day, your gift will also be part of a $2500 challenge from Cameron and Cathy Carter, who are encouraging alumni, patients, families, and friends to support the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence and take a stand for mental health.

Partner with Cameron and Cathy to empower scientists, policymakers, students, families and the mental health care community to create positive change for those affected by mental illness.

Together, we add up! That is why Every Aggie Counts.

$2,500
Cameron and Cathy Carter Behavioral Health Center of Excellence Challenge
While we didn’t quite meet our challenge goal, because of the support from all, Dr. Cameron and Mrs. Cathy Carter still made the gift of $2,500 to support the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence General Fund. Thanks to all of you for giving!
