At the School of Education, we know that each of our teaching students has the potential to be a special teacher for a new generation. That’s why our teacher education program is so rigorous, and why our faculty conduct research used by classrooms nationally and internationally.

This year on Give Day, we’ve chosen four ways you can honor a teacher. Your gift can support:
• The School of Education Annual Fund, which includes student scholarships and support for faculty research that translates into better teaching
• Guardian Teacher Scholarship Fund for former foster youth who want to become teachers. 10 gifts of any size will unlock a $5,000 challenge generously donated by School Services of California!
• Next Generation STEM Teaching Award scholarships for students who plan on teaching STEM subjects in public schools (and have your gift matched dollar for dollar!)
• The Reading and Academic Development (RAD) Center serves school age children, K-12, with learning and developmental difficulties in the areas of reading and literacy. This fund will offer scholarship support that will allow all families access to these invaluable services.
