At the College of Engineering, we are dedicated to training each new generation of engineers to be critical thinkers and creative problem solvers who can integrate, analyze, and synthesize information in a way that fosters innovation. Our programs encourage diversity and cross collaboration, while providing our students with hands-on academic experiences that engage them in learning and make them better leaders in the workplace.
In honor of our first Give Day, alumnus and Professor Steve Robinson ’78, Chair of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, provided a $10,000 challenge gift to encourage you and many others to give to student clubs. Steve’s gift will fund the UC Davis Astronaut Alumni Scholarship this year.
Alumna Pam Fair ’80 has also provided a $5,000 challenge gift to encourage our alumni and friends to give to our Engineering Annual Fund. Pam’s gift will provide flexible funds for the development of innovative, educational, and interactive engineering student programs for our College.
By making a gift this Give Day, you provide our amazing students with the resources they need to grow their talents, transform tomorrow’s technology, and develop solutions for future economic growth. Join us today!
