UC Davis alumnus donates $4.5 million to Animal Science’s Horse Barn

Richard E. Jorgensen ’60 gifted a total of $4.5 million to support the Department of Animal Science's Horse Barn and Animal Science majors. He was inspired to make such a donation because of the impact the barn had on him as a student herdsman senior year and the importance the barn serves for so many other students.

UC Davis alumni couple give to support growth of multidisciplinary learning at DataLab, Arboretum and Public Garden

Paul and Barbara Schneeman, UC Davis Alumni, have made significant donations to support the UC Davis DataLab: Science and Infomatics and the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden. Their contribution to the DataLab will support the pursuit of multidisciplinary research and learning. Their contribution to the Arboretum will support the Learning by Leading student internships program.

Stewardship awards for faculty and staff

For the first time in almost two years, UC Davis presented its Faculty and Staff Stewardship Awards at an in-person ceremony, held Oct. 9, giving the winners their due recognition while surrounded by colleagues and family members.
