Center for Neuroscience
Celebrating 30 Years of Innovation and Discoveries: Support the Center for Neuroscience!

Established in 1992 as one of the first interdisciplinary research centers of its kind in the U.S., the Center for Neuroscience (CNS) has an international reputation for neuroscience innovation and excellence. The Center’s world-class faculty and trainees conduct cutting-edge research at all levels of the nervous system, from genes and behavior, through all stages of life to reveal the remarkable complexity of the brain, advance new treatments for neurological and psychiatric disorders, and transform next generation technologies to improve lives.

This Give Day, each gift moves us one step closer to unlocking challenge gifts, totaling $204,000 from our generous sponsors. In honor of the Center for Neuroscience’s 30th Anniversary, 30 gifts or more to the Center’s General Fund will support our top priorities and unlock the CNS 30th Anniversary Challenge for $30,000.

Your gift – no matter the amount – creates a positive and meaningful impact. When you support the Center for Neuroscience, you help advance innovative discoveries, inspire and train the next generation of neuroscientists, and provide educational activities, such as NeuroFest and K-12 brain science instructional programs in the greater Sacramento community.

Join our generous supporters and make a gift to the Center for Neuroscience today!

UC Davis Medical Center ranked among World’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek

“To be recognized among the best hospitals in the world reflects the incredible dedication of our entire team as they provide the most advanced, comprehensive care for patients,” said David Lubarsky, CEO of UC Davis Health. “As COVID-19 has changed how we care for our communities, what remains steadfast is our focus on clinical excellence, quality and extraordinary patient care. We strive to bring the most innovative advancements in medicine resulting in the best possible outcomes and personalized positive experiences.”

Newsweek’s rankings are based on responses to an online survey sent to nearly 80,000 medical experts – mostly physicians, but also hospital managers and other health care professionals in 27 countries.
