Your Aggie Volleyball team is coming off a season of getting quite a bit of experience for some very talented young women. We only graduate two players as we return to our 2022 season and we are adding five true freshman to our roster. So we will have lots of depth matched with an experienced returning group.
We are also taking this team to Europe this summer 2022. After finishing spring quarter finals, we head to Prague in the Czech Republic where we will compete against some high level clubs. Then we swing down through Vienna, Austria for a day on our way to Maribor, Slovenia where we play several junior national teams from all over the world. After Maribor, we head to Venice, Italy for a day and fly to Lisbon, Spain for another few matches against their top clubs before we head back stateside. This should prove to be an incredible experience for our team as our incoming freshman will be able to join us for this trip.
To make Give Day even sweeter, we've challenged Women’s Golf, Men's Golf and Field Hockey to a competition to see who can get the most people to support them this Give Day. The team with the most donors wins a bonus of $1,000 for their annual budget.
We are anticipating that the competition and bonding experience that the team gets will carry into our fall 2022 season as we have schedule some tough preseason competition heading to clash with the Ducks in Eugene followed by the Texas Longhorns in Austin!
2022 should be a very exciting campaign, but providing life-changing experiences like these to our student-athletes requires support from the Aggie community. Please join us!
