UC Davis Softball is off to a great start this season and our competition has been fierce. Our dedication towards preparing during the off season has paid off and we are seeing great results.
Each year, Give Day is an important initiative for our program as we look to our families, friends, and alumni for support. When you support UC Davis Softball you are providing resources for us to purchase a complete hitting technology package. A technology package will allow our team to capture and assess every swing and receive immediate feedback on their performance. The power of a hitting app allows players to work on their launch angle, exit velocity, ball speed, and flight distance. All of these things will help our program compete in every game this year and into the future.
This year Give Day is all about participation. Whether it's a $5 donation or $500...Every Aggie Counts on this annual day of generosity and gratitude. To make it even sweeter, we've challenged Lacrosse, Gymnastics, and Baseball to a competition to see who can get the most people to support them on this Give Day. The team with the most donors wins a bonus of $1,000 for their annual budget.
