Behavioral Health Center of Excellence
Support the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence on Give Day!

One in five people in the United States experiences a mental health condition every year. Mental health challenges are the number one cause of disability in the United States and touch almost every individual, family and community.

The UC Davis Behavioral Health Center of Excellence is taking the lead to address this public health concern by bridging neuroscience research, mental health care and policy to improve the lives of those touched by mental illness.

This Give Day, your gift no matter the amount will move us one step closer to our goal of 25 gifts!

When you support the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, you help accelerate research that informs policy, provide evidence-based best practices training and education to community mental health programs, develop innovative strategies for early intervention, and foster effective clinical treatments to improve lives. Your support will inspire and empower scientists, policymakers, students, families and the mental health care community to create positive change for those affected by mental illness.

UC Davis Medical Center ranked among World’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek

“To be recognized among the best hospitals in the world reflects the incredible dedication of our entire team as they provide the most advanced, comprehensive care for patients,” said David Lubarsky, CEO of UC Davis Health. “As COVID-19 has changed how we care for our communities, what remains steadfast is our focus on clinical excellence, quality and extraordinary patient care. We strive to bring the most innovative advancements in medicine resulting in the best possible outcomes and personalized positive experiences.”

Newsweek’s rankings are based on responses to an online survey sent to nearly 80,000 medical experts – mostly physicians, but also hospital managers and other health care professionals in 27 countries.
