Arboretum and Public Garden
Join the Arboretum and Public Garden’s Environmental Learning Center campaign this Give Day

The UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden has exciting news! We are building an Environmental Learning Center at the west end of the Arboretum, inside the Arboretum Teaching Nursery. We’ve already broken ground and construction will finish by fall 2022. Join with us to increase public engagement and empower student environmental leaders by supporting our Launch the Learning Center” campaign.

The new Learning Center will provide an inviting indoor/outdoor public program space, a classroom for visitor and volunteer events, and a program staging area for students in the Arboretum and Public Garden’s innovative environmental leadership program — Learning by Leading™️.

Join with us to increase public engagement and empower student environmental leaders by supporting our “Launch the Learning Center” campaign this Give Day!

A generous bequest honoring Elizabeth Mary Wolf has funded construction but your help is needed to finish the project!  Give Day donations will support the people, programs and features to bring the Environmental Learning Center to life as a dynamic public engagement hub.

Your Give Day donation will help:

  • Support our student Learning by Leading™️ environmental interns and community volunteers in planning and hosting free public programs and events
  • Outfit the new Learning Center with supplies and furnishings to support expanded public programs
  • Fund new and renovated demonstration garden beds around the Learning Center

The opening of the Elizabeth Mary Wolf Environmental Learning Center will usher in a new era of increased public engagement at the Arboretum Teaching Nursery for our campus community and the public with more year-round education programs focused on sustainability and the environment.

Join other Aggies, today, in supporting the Arboretum and Public Garden’s mission to help people and environments thrive. Thank you!
