Supporting groundbreaking research, teaching excellence, and assistance for all students
The Annual Fund supports signature programs that enhance research and teaching across campus and open opportunities for students at all levels.
Chancellor’s Fellows awards allow early-career faculty to pursue research or creative work that often is exploratory or groundbreaking in nature, involving students in their exciting discoveries.
Chancellor’s Achievement Awards have gifted more than 800 scholarships to outstanding first-generation California students. These awards open higher education to students who otherwise might not have had the opportunity.
The unrestricted Annual Fund allows faculty to engage students in groundbreaking research and offers first-generation college students the opportunity to attend UC Davis.
The Annual Fund also allows university leadership to respond quickly to emerging student needs. Last spring, the Annual Fund allowed Chancellor May to provide 600 loaner laptops to students when classes moved online in response to COVID-19.
Support research and teaching excellence and greater opportunities for all students by giving to the Annual Fund.
