UC Davis Women’s Water Polo has seen incredible growth over the past four decades. Emerging from a Collegiate Club in 1983, to an NCAA Division II program in 1996, to a Division I program in 2007 and then into the Big West Conference in 2009. Through it all, we have enjoyed tremendous support from the community and those surrounding our program.
Along the way we won 3 Collegiate Club National Championships, won 4 varsity conference championships, made 2 NCAA appearances (including a final 4 finish in 2008) and as recent as 2016 reached a regular season # 5 national ranking, our highest in program history. UCD has been ranked among the nation’s top 20 in each year we have been varsity and are proud to have had over 100 All-Americans and All-Academic winners as well.
