UC Davis Men’s Soccer is a program on the rise! After a strong year in 2018, we followed up with a Big West Conference Championship and trip to the NCAA Tournament this year.
Our team continues to perform on the field, with ten Aggies named to the Big West postseason honor roll including Wallis Lapsley who was named Big West Goalkeeper of the year (and was also selected by the New York Red Bulls in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft). Head coach Dwayne Shaffer (Big West Coach of the Year) and assistant Jason Hotaling (College Soccer News Top 15 Assistant Coach) also received accolades for their work in 2019.
