Support global education for innovations in Orthopaedic treatments!
As a leading West Coast center for orthopaedic care and a key player in the world-renowned UC Davis Trauma Center — one of the largest and most sophisticated interdisciplinary trauma programs in the nation — the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides a full spectrum of treatment specialties. Our faculty and staff are committed to training practicing surgeons with the broadest possible experience.
Former UC Davis Health Department of Orthopaedic Surgery faculty member H. David Moehring has established a new endowed fund in honor of his late wife, Virginia "Ginger" Moehring. The Ginger and David Moehring Fund for Global Orthopedics will support global traveling fellowships for orthopedic surgery residents. This unique experience will enhance the training program for UC Davis School of Medicine orthopedic surgery residents, allowing them to experience alternate treatment methodologies and the richness of foreign cultures.
Your gift – no matter the amount – can have a significant impact on our residents, faculty and patients and their families. When you support the Department of Orthopaedics, you are helping the next generation of physicians with a wide range of global educational programs and research investigations
