Our undergraduates engage in world-class research every day alongside faculty across the university. They’re working to discover new medicines, create vaccines, explore the arts, mitigate the impacts of poverty and prejudice, support global conservation efforts, and design innovative materials for solar energy conversion, pest management, or zero-waste clothing manufacturing.
The Undergraduate Research Center represents a campus-wide collaboration to inspire and facilitate students’ engagement in research, scholarship and creative activities across all disciplines. Getting involved with cutting-edge research at our premier university enhances students’ interactions with faculty, teaches students to think independently, and promotes leadership and communication skills. Workshops, research programs, professional development, fellowships and travel awards are available to all majors and all class levels. Hundreds of students showcase their independent research projects at the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship & Creative Activities Conference each spring.
When you support the Undergraduate Research Center, you provide Aggies with the resources they need to create, explore and discover new knowledge – from the lab to the studio, from the library to the field.
Your gift, no matter the size, will help us provide fellowships for Aggies to pursue their original research projects, and travel grants to present their work at regional and national conferences.
This Give Day, we’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 to support up to 20 students with research fellowships and travel awards to present their research.
Join us as we celebrate and support undergraduate student researchers today. Together, we can create and discover more! That is why every Aggie counts.
